My brother Zack and I made this little paper bag cat. Zack loves to make things out of the craft book. I was taking pictures and Josiah wanted his picture taken too. I thought it was a cute picture.

Here is a recipe for some cookies I made a few days ago. They are really good.
Chewy Chocolate Cookies
2 1\2 sticks of butter softened
2 eggs
2 teaspoons of vanilla
2 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cup cocoa
1 teaspoon baking soda
12-oz package semi-sweet chocolate chips OR 10-oz peanut butter chips
Heat oven to 350 degrees. In a large mixing bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla;beat well. Stir together flour, cocoa, and baking soda; gradually blend into butter mixture. Stir in chips. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 9 minutes. (Do not overbake;cookies will be soft. They will puff up while baking and flatten while cooling) Cool slightly; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack or wax paper. Cool completely. About 4 1/2 dozen cookies.
Here’s a picture I took a couple days ago of my little brother playing in the snow. We’ve been getting a lot of snow lately, and it’s lots of fun!

I crocheted this snowflake today. I used yarn instead of thread so it was a little bigger than it was supposed to be, but it turned out all right. It is so fun to crochet. I like to make Christmas ornaments, and this was an easy one.
My brothers take Karate classes that are for home schooled kids.
There are also other activities and one of them was a program where they teach you how to knit. I went to it today. It was lots of fun. The lady that was teaching it showed us how wool, silk and cotton, etc. were spun into yarn. I will go again another time to learn how to knit!
It will be fun to learn how to knit.
I sat down yesterday to look for an easy pattern to make. I found this one and decided to try it. It was fun to try a new pattern and I’m glad I did. I can’t wait to start a new project soon.

I took this picture of my little brother on a swing when we were at the park the other day. Mom gave me the camera and he saw it and wanted me to take a picture of him. We had fun at the park.

We went to the park today and I found these flowers. I really like the purple one on the bottom. I’m thankful for God’s beautiful creation.

My aunt Melony taught me to crochet a couple months ago. She also gave me a book of crochet patterns, but she didn’t have enough time to teach me how to read a pattern. When my grandma came up the other day, she taught me how to read a pattern. So I used the book from my aunt Melony and made this heart pin cushion. Thanks aunt Melony and Grandma.
