YUM!
My Dad gave me these pretty wildflowers for my birthday. I had fun taking pictures of them with my new camera. Thanks for the flowers dad! I took a lot of pictures, but this was my favorite.

Today is my 13th birthday, and Mom and Dad got me a camera. I like it a lot. I will take a lot more pictures with this. Thank you Mom & Dad!

When we went camping last week, my dad got me a new bike. It is really nice and I have a lot of fun riding it. Mom, Jake, Zack, Josiah and I went on a bike ride to the park this morning. That was fun. It is a lot easier to keep up with everyone now that I have a better bike. Here are some pictures:

Wow! look at how high it goes!
Luke and I were taking some pictures the other day, and Josiah wanted to take some too. He is using Luke’s camera in this picture and he also took some with my camera.

“Say Cheese!”

Another cute picture of Josiah.

Here is a picture I took of Nick outside on a nice day.
We went to an ice rink at a park yesterday. My little brothers had fun sliding around. Josiah and Zack found some deep snow at the park, and had fun jumping off the snow pile into the snow. It was fun slipping and sliding around on the ice.

Today is my brother Zack’s birthday. Happy Birthday Zack!

My brother Zack and I made this little paper bag cat. Zack loves to make things out of the craft book. I was taking pictures and Josiah wanted his picture taken too. I thought it was a cute picture.

Here is a recipe for some cookies I made a few days ago. They are really good.
Chewy Chocolate Cookies
2 1\2 sticks of butter softened
2 eggs
2 teaspoons of vanilla
2 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cup cocoa
1 teaspoon baking soda
12-oz package semi-sweet chocolate chips OR 10-oz peanut butter chips
Heat oven to 350 degrees. In a large mixing bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla;beat well. Stir together flour, cocoa, and baking soda; gradually blend into butter mixture. Stir in chips. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 9 minutes. (Do not overbake;cookies will be soft. They will puff up while baking and flatten while cooling) Cool slightly; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack or wax paper. Cool completely. About 4 1/2 dozen cookies.
Here’s a picture I took a couple days ago of my little brother playing in the snow. We’ve been getting a lot of snow lately, and it’s lots of fun!
