I am a homeschooled junior from Michigan. I am the only daughter of 8 children and I am the third oldest. I love to read and write. That, of course, is why I like to blog. I enjoy reading other blogs too. Check out my blogroll for blogs I enjoy. I also like to crochet, and you can see some of my early crochet projects on my blog. Perhaps I will post more projects in the future. I guess you could call me a “crafty” person, for I enjoy a lot of craft type things; like crocheting, card making, redecorating old stuff, and sewing. I also like to cook and bake, especially sweet stuff.
I’m not a huge outdoor fan, but I do enjoy nature in the warm weather, and I love going camping with my family. I like to hang out with my brothers, especially Taylor (my older brother) and Luke (my younger brother), who are the closest in age to me. And I really like to hang out with my best friend, Ashley, and my cousin/sister Elisabeth.
I love little kids and I enjoy playing with my awesome little brothers and I love helping with crafts at Vacation Bible School every summer. My passion is to live for Christ and give Him everything I’ve got. Even when I was little, I used to preach (see the picture below) and talk about being a missionary to Maine.
I still want to be a missionary, or go into the ministry in some way and minister to children. Like I mentioned earlier, I really love kids and I think that God wants me to serve Him by serving them.
Right now I am still in school and preparing for my future, so I am uncertain of what God has planned for me, but one thing is for sure: that I will serve God in any way I can for the rest of my life. I really want Him to use me for His glory and reach others for His Kingdom. I pray that He will use me as a small part of His big plans for this world.
